It is so cooooold! ? So some nice thick soup will do! Here is a potato soup recipe, my style.
- Salt and pepper
Peel, wash and cut your potatoes into pieces, Boil in salt water(add chicken or beef stock for flavor).
It doesn’t matter if they over cook, so mash them together until soft.
Mash the potatoes on medium heat so the mixture doesn’t get hard, the heat makes it easy to mash and softens it more?
Fry some onions until brown and add the mashed potatoes.
Add some fresh full fat milk and stir until you have a nice thick consistency
I love to serve hot food -Hot! and in this weather, the soup bowls have to be warmed.
What I do – I add a few drops of water in the bowl and then put it in the microwave for 3 minutes. The steam from the water will warm the plates up much faster! And your soup will stay hot for a while as you eat it?
Serve with bread and enjoy!
